Open Water Fishing
I am a fully insured inland water fishing guide that strictly fish's Leech Lake. Being able to only fish Leech Lake greatly improves the chances to keep up on the "hot bite" year-round. My goal for every trip is to provide the best possible service i can to the clients.
The Boat
I am very lucky to be operating a 2023 Wx 2060 Skeeter. This boat is a fishing machine designed for big waters. My boat is able to take out a max of 5 clients at a time. For each trip everything is included such as rods, tackle, bait, basic beverages and safety equipment. The only thing you need is a fishing license.
Electronics
Electronics are changing and updating every day it feels like, I try my best to keep as updated as possible. The boat is equipped with an Lvs 34 plus and 12 inch garmin for livescope, hummingbirds for mapping and side imaging, 2024 ultrex Minnkota and a Minnkota Talon. Being able to know how to read and use this technology is a huge advantage for any fisherman.
Targeted Species
For most people that come up to Leech Lake the main target is walleye. The goal for every trip is to limit out on walleye and go for the next bite that is active. That is usually up the clients on what they would like to do. Perch, panfish, large mouth, small mouth and rock bass are all on the table. BIg Groups and Pick up
For larger groups that would require more than just one boat I am able to reach out to other great guides on the lake to make sure your group will be taken care of.
For pickups and meet spots it's all up to you. Doesn't matter if you are staying at a resort, coming up for a day, personal or friends cabin, I will meet you at the dock, access or resort of your choosing.
